Walnut Cookies


Walnut Cookies With White Chocolate

4 cups of walnut halves
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp vanilla
1 tsp sea salt

Place walnuts in a thin layer on a baking sheet and roast for 5 minutes at 350 degrees
Let cool on a plate for 10 minutes
Pulse walnuts in a food processor until they form into a fine meal
Mix all ingredients together
Form into 1 inch balls and place 1-2 inches apart on a parchment lined sheet
Bake for 15 minutes at 350
Let cool and drizzle with melted white chocolate

Gingerbread Mansion Very Lemony Lemon Bread

1/2 cup butter

1/2 cup milkGM Tassel

1 cup sugar

1/2 cup finely chopped nuts

grated lemon peel

2 eggs, slightly beaten

1 1/4 cups flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

Topping: 1/8 cup sugar, juice of one lemon

Sift flour with baking powder and salt.  Cream butter and sugar.  Mix in eggs.  Alternately add flour mixture and milk, stirring constantly.  Mix in nuts and lemon peel.  Bake in greased 5x9" loaf pan for about 50 minutes or until done when tested.  Bake at 350.

As soon as bread comes out of oven, poke holes in the top with fork and spoon over the topping of sugar and lemon juice. Mix the topping just prior to use or it will not be smooth.
